Your Human Design Type is one of the most important aspects of your chart. 

It describes how your energy naturally operates, how you interact with the world, and the strategy that helps you move through life with greater ease and alignment. 

There are four Human Design Types: 

• Generator, 

• Manifesting Generator (a subset of Generator), 

• Projector, and 

• Reflector. 

Each Type emits it's own particular aura, which is why there are just four Types, depsite there being five distinctions:

• Generators and Manifesting Generators emit an open and enveloping aura. They are designed to use their energy to build their life.

• Manifestors have a closed and repelling aura. They are designed to initiate.

• Projectors possess a focussed, penetrating and absorbing aura. They are the world's natural guides.

• Reflector auras are "non-stick", like teflon coated products. The conditioning from others can dissapate when they leave the environment. If correct, they can be excellent judges of the lived truth (or not) of others.

Each Type has a specific energetic role, purpose, and strategy for navigating life. 

Your Authority is your personal decision-making system. 

It shows how you are uniquely designed to make choices that are correct for you, rather than relying solely on logic or external advice. 

If followed, ones Authority leads to a richly differentiated life where comparison with others and adherence to external conditioning falls away and you "get to live YOUR life".

Your Profile describes the costume you wear in this incarnation. It is a generic archetype just as Astrology Sun Signs are generic. 

It influences how you learn, build relationships, approach opportunities, and fulfil your purpose. 

The Internal chemistry, represented in the Human Design chart, is played out through the costume.

Authority is often considered the most practical aspect of Human Design because it provides a reliable way to make decisions that are aligned with your unique design and life path. 

Your Type provides your overall strategy for interacting with life, while your Authority shows you how to make decisions within that strategy. Together, they form the foundation of Human Design practice. 

Type is the most basic degree of differentiation between human beings. Knowing about one's Type is fundamental to a living a life with far less resistance.

Inner Authority is the way we can make decisions that align to our Design and to our inherent nature.

Your Profile reveals key themes in ones conscious personality (who we identify as ourselves) as well as your physicality.

From this, strengths, learning style, relationships, opportunities and how you will journey in your life, helps you to better understand your role in the world. 

Profile is often immediately recognized by those new to Human Design as the costume they wear and their life experience as a result of this.
