Human Design was founded by Ra Uru Hu in 1987. This site is operated by Richard Beaumont, a direct student of Ra Uru Hu.

It is both. The science is in the mechanics of the system that produces a specific chart for each person. The spirituality can be seen in the prophecy contained in the ‘grey’ information regarding the future, what happens after death, and encounter experiences often referred to as paranormal phenomena. Spirituality is also experienced through living one’s true design and the connection with a larger reality that comes as a by-product of that.

Ra Uru Hu, the founder of the system, explained that he had an 8-day experience during which what he referred to as “The Voice” forced him to write down diagrams and numbers while showing him many previously unknown things about the true nature of reality. When asked about this, Ra said he was taught by “The Design Crystal” that exists in the mantle of the Earth where all forms come from. He said he met an intelligence compared to which he was like a dog. He described the experience as immensely painful and also the most magical experience he had ever had before or since.

Ra Uru Hu, born Alan Robert Krakower on April 9th, 1948, in Montreal, Canada, began his career in the creative industries, running a successful advertising agency and television production company in Toronto. In 1983, during a personal crisis, he left that life behind and moved to Ibiza, Spain. It was there that he had his encounter with “The Voice” and was given the knowledge that created The Human Design System.

Human Design knowledge can clearly show the mechanical nature of your relationships. If that understanding is applied, it often helps partners understand differences and accept them as valid. Regarding life, The Human Design System provides guidance on who one is mechanically and how to make correct decisions based on that chart. Many report positive transformation as a result of making better decisions.
