Human Design Lines

The term 'Line or Lines' refer to the Gate/Hexagram and the number that accompanies separated by a 'dot' or 'point'.

So, for example 60.1 is in the Hexagram of Limitation / The Gate of Acceptance and the .1 tells us it is the 1st of 6 Lines and it represents the foundation of the Hexagram. It has the name 'Acceptance'. It carries specific meaning that can be experienced in an exalted way or in a detrimental way. The exaltation is: If you can accept the limitation, whatever it may be, then you are able to transcend it. So if your flight is cancelled and you are stranded at the airport, you can accept that and have a nice meal and read a book. Or the detrimental way: you can become very restless and wind yourself up being upset about a limitation you have no power to do anything about.

Most Gates have both exaltation and detriment. However, some only have exaltations and some only detriments.
